With the addition of a new worship building, Northeast Bible Church brought Coral Studio in to design an outdoor gathering space as an extension of the new worship center. Coral Studio recognized the need for a phased masterplan to fit the church’s budget and needs for the expansion. The masterplan organized existing and future buildings and prioritized pedestrian circulation and connections. The new design also adds a community park, an amphitheater, playground, outdoor lounge spaces, and sports courts. Drainage and erosion proved to be a reoccurring issue throughout the design process. To combat this, Coral Studio created a dry cobble stream bed with check dams to control water runoff while aesthetically transforming the landscape. 

Phase 1 construction was completed in 2022 with future phases to come.
