Project Team: CREO Architecture, Pape-Dawson Engineers
The H. E. Butt Foundation is transforming a previously underused office into a new center for Congregational Mental Health. The programming of the space now offers a range of amenities and opportunities for outdoor engagement. Outdoor lounge spaces provide comforting settings for individuals to unwind and connect with nature. The rain garden will serve as an environmentally sustainable feature while creating a setting of aesthetic beauty. The patio offers a versatile area for gatherings, while the outdoor meeting and classroom opportunities create an innovative learning environment that blends hill country character with urban charm. This revitalized space embodies the power of adaptive reuse, transforming an underutilized area into a vibrant and inspiring oasis within the cityscape.
