Firefly on the Brazos RV Resort Rainbow, TX
Client: Premier Land
Project Team: TX2 Engineering, CREO Architecture
Coral Studio created the masterplan and landscape architecture design for this 128-acre RV and tiny home resort near Glenrose, Texas. The envisioned master plan features a commercial/retail street frontage at the forefront, followed by an inviting community of RV and tiny homes. Drawing inspiration from the Texas grasslands, the design aims to restore the existing stock pond, transforming it into a recreational fishing spot while offering access and amenities along the Brazos River. A significant portion of the landscape will be preserved to evoke a natural 'State Park' feel. Some of the programming elements includes: the addition of a resort-style pool and lazy river, a playground and entertainment pavilion, a mini golf course, and gem mining and gaming areas for all ages to enjoy. The river recreational area will serve as a lively hub with food trucks, picnic spots, nature play opportunities, sand volleyball courts, a kayak launch, and a focus on preserving the natural beauty of the riverfront area.
